How does GPC alpha compare other choline supplements on the market? Choline is an essential nutrient dissolved in water. It is closely related to the family of the vitamin B complex.

Choline is necessary for good health:

Known for several decades, choline is an important nutrient for the brain and whole body health. This nutrient was first discovered in 1864 by Adolph Strecker and chemically synthesized two years later.

You could also try to change your diet and get the sources of choline solely from the food that you eat. The problem with this is the potential for unintended side effects. Eating 8 egg yolks a day will provide a solid amount of choline, but it could possibly raise the level of cholesterol.

Beef liver can also be used, but the costs required to achieve an adequate level on an ongoing basis can not make it possible. Of course there are ways that you can get more choline in your diet by changing what you eat, but to achieve better cognitive enhancement results, taking supplements usually requires seeing noticeable effects.
